RSET’s Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies was the Media Institute Partner for the 25th EduLeaders Summit, organised by +91 Media Innovation at Radisson Blu, Guwahati, Assam on 28th November 2025. Alongside the summit, the institute carried out an Outreach Program from 26th to 29th November 2025 across various Schools and educational institutions in Guwahati. The primary aim of this initiative was to build strong academic relationships, interact with prospective students, and explore avenues for future collaborations.
During the first two days of the visit, the team engaged with key decision-makers across multiple institutions in Guwahati, meeting Principals to discuss opportunities at DGMC and academic collaborations. On Day 1 – 26th Nov 2025, the team engaged with Faculty Higher Secondary School where a session was conducted for around 70 students, followed by a meeting with the Principal and leaders at International School Guwahati and Girirajananda Chowdhury University. On Day 2 – 27th November 2025 the team visited Sarla Birla Gyan Jyoti School, Brahmaputra Valley English Academy, Paschim Guwahati Mahavidyalaya, and Lalit Chandra College.
On Day 3 – 28th Nov 2025, DGMC participated in the 25th EduLeaders Summit, engaging with more than 120 Principals and senior educators from various North-Eastern states and showcasing the institute’s strengths in media education and student development. Dr. Amee Vora represented DGMC as a Panelist on the topic – ‘Enabling, joyful, innovative, and relevant pedagogy in the classroom’. The outreach program concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Paschim Guwahati Mahavidyalaya, enabling future collaborations through academic exchanges, workshops, and joint student initiatives.
The four-day outreach proved to be a valuable step towards expanding DGMC’s institutional footprint in the North-East region. With meaningful conversations, promising collaborations, and increased brand recognition, DGMC successfully strengthened relationships with key decision-makers of various schools and colleges across Guwahati, laying a strong foundation for future growth and development. It strengthened DGMC’s brand presence in the North-East through impactful engagements and promising institutional collaborations.
