The Rotaract Club of DGMC hosted an Orientation Ceremony of the RI year 2025–2026, for first-year students. This marked a new chapter in the club’s journey and warmly introduced the first-year students into its mission, values, and community.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome from the President, followed by an address by the President-elect. They reflected on their journeys within the club, emphasizing its core principles and notable achievements over the years.
The President also highlighted some of the key projects undertaken by the club in the previous year and the positive impact these initiatives created within the community. The Presentation provided an overview of the club’s hierarchy and functioning, helping the first-year students understand the various leadership roles and opportunities available within the club. Beyond sharing insights, their addresses were meant to encourage active engagement and commitment among the students.
Bringing valuable insights to the event, Principal Dr. Amee Vora gave her address, followed by motivating words from Club Advisor Prof. Nilanksha Sachdev. They reinforced their support for the club’s mission and highlighted the importance of student engagement and leadership development.
To encourage interaction, the formal agenda was followed by a range of fun games and musical activities. These interactive segments acted as excellent icebreakers, helping first-year students bond with their peers and connect with existing club members in a friendly and inclusive setting.
The ceremony not only introduced the first-year students to the vision and values of the club but also ignited a strong sense of enthusiasm, belonging, and purpose. The interactions and the welcoming atmosphere led to an instant rise in membership, with many students eager to take their first step toward leadership and service.
