This engaging session for SY BAMMC and SY B.Sc. (Data Science) students focused on the relationship between biodiversity, media representation, and environmental responsibility. Students learned about urban wildlife, biodiversity conservation, and the ecological impact of rapid urbanisation. Ms. Pereira highlighted the role of media in shaping public perceptions of wildlife and stressed the importance of verifying information to combat misinformation. Through discussions on wildlife biology, media misrepresentation of animal species, and conservation initiatives such as those undertaken in Sanjay Gandhi National Park, students developed a greater appreciation for responsible journalism, media literacy, and environmental stewardship.
Storyboarding by Mr. Kshitij Verma on 4th June 2026, introduced SY B.Sc. (Animation & VFX) students to the fundamentals of visual storytelling and pre-production planning. The session emphasised the importance of translating scripts into visual sequences, understanding shot composition, camera angles, scene continuity, and narrative flow. Through practical examples and industry insights, students gained a deeper appreciation of storyboarding as a critical stage in animation, filmmaking, and visual communication.
