Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies (DGMC) has been providing learners access to quality online courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) through the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) since the Academic Year 2025–26.
NPTEL, an initiative of the Government of India, offers high-quality courses across diverse disciplines. DGMC functions as an NPTEL Local Chapter, with Ms. Sherin Mathew serving as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to facilitate course registration, examinations, and learner support.
As part of her role as SPOC, Ms. Sherin Mathew attended the NPTEL SPOC Felicitation Workshop at IIT Bombay on 25 July 2026. The workshop provided valuable insights into NPTEL courses, registration procedures, examinations, and the functioning of Local Chapters, further strengthening DGMC’s commitment to providing learners with quality learning opportunities.
