IQAC of RSET’s DGMC signed an MOU with the Association – The Public Relations Society of India and hence were invited to the event organised by them on account of the National Public Relations Day on 21st April 2026 on the rooftop of Free Press at Nariman Point, Churchgate, Mumbai, the event included a series of Musical Performances and Panel Discussion on “PR as the 5th Pillar of Democracy” The Panel included Dr. Nilesh Khare – Editor in Chief & COO Saam TV, Dr. Sanjay Ranade – a Media Educator & Researcher and was Moderated by Prof. Daivata Patil.
Sanman Hutgikar a MA (C&J) student was invited as a Youth Speaker for the Event and shared the Gen Z perspective on role of Public Relations in a Democracy and the expectation of the youth from PR. The event was attended by the Masters Students of DGMC along with the students from colleges across Mumbai making it an engaging platform for dialogue, learning, and critical reflection on the future of public relations in India.
Further, an Industry Academia Meet activity specifically for the students of MA (C&J) and MA (PR) was also hosted by the Association.
