An industrial visit to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya and Jahangir Art Gallery located in Fort, Mumbai on 9th July 2022. The visit was organized by the Fine Arts club
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Museum was formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum. It was built to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales, King George V. Construction was completed in 1914, but it was used as a military hospital during World War I. It was not available to the general public until 1922.
Our students witnessed many student artworks and professional artworks in its original glory. Our students interacted with artists and craftsman behind those artworks which was exhibited in the gallery.
