The entire International Immersion Programme was conducted in Three Phases;
Phase I– Visit to MUST University, in Cairo, which involved, a six hour workshop, by Dr Khaled Mossad to instil technical aspects of post-production, advertising and marketing techniques in Egyptian markets and soft skills management amongst the students. Misr University for Science & Technology (MUST) is the first private university established in Egypt with nearly 20,000+ students. Since 1996, MUST has been recognized for effectiveness and notability of its academic programs as well as the success of its sustainability efforts.
Phase II– Visit to second largest city of Egypt- Alexandria, a major economic centre and popular destination. In Cairo, the group visited Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx at Giza Plateau, Catacombs of KOM El Shoqafa, Citadel of Qaitbay, Library of Egypt, and Egyptian Museum; which features artefacts from the Pharaonic period, Mosque of Amr Ibn Al As and various other ancient sites.
The students also experienced the Cairo skyline after dark on Nile River. It was an amazing way to enjoy a glittering memorable night cruising along the Nile River while in Cairo. An open buffet dinner, two hours sailing experience on Nile experiencing belly dancing, folkloric show and oriental music made the night unforgettable.
The students could also gain cognitive learning through a visit at Alghad Media Channel (popularly known as Channel –Tomorrow) where they could witness live telecast, organising and coordinating media activities, news filtration, graphics and animation.
No trip would feel complete without spending an evening in the lively heart of Cairo- the bustling market district of Khan el Khalili beloved for centuries by Egyptians and foreigners alike. The aged, labyrinthine passages of Khan el Khalili set the stage for the most adventurous shopping experience one could ever imagine.
Phase III– Presentations delivered by students in groups on their first hand exposure , planning and research done in the land of Pharaohs and experiencing stimulation of projects in a new and different approach to learning. The conferring of certificates in the presence of President of University, Dr Mohammad Al Azzazy, Vice President, Dr Mukhtar, Dean of Mass Communication Dr Hisham Atteya, Dr Yasmeen, Student Exchange Coordinator , Dr Khaled, Prof in Mass Communication and Dr Lamia , Professor, Media College will be an another highlight in the portfolios of students for the rest of their lives.
The visit was a life changing educational experience for the students and a dream for anyone with more than a passing interest in Egyptian history and culture.

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences
