Beyond the High – Breaking Myths and Inspiring Recovery beyond Addiction

- De-Addiction Awareness Seminar was conducted on 29th June 2026

The NSS unit of RSET’s Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies organized a de-addiction seminar titled “Beyond the High – Breaking Myths and Inspiring Recovery beyond Addiction” by Dr. Arun Kunchikar to create awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of living a healthy, addiction-free life. The session was informative and engaging, as Dr. Kunchikar explained how addiction affects a person physically, mentally, and socially, and spoke about the importance of early intervention, family support, and counselling in recovery. He encouraged students to stay away from harmful habits and to take responsibility in spreading awareness among their peers and in the community. Overall, a valuable and eye-opening experience strengthened the NSS spirit of service, awareness, and social responsibility.
