The Rotaract Club of Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies successfully hosted Stage for Teachers, a vibrant celebration highlighting the creativity and talent of both teaching and non-teaching staff. The initiative provided students with a unique opportunity to witness their mentors beyond academic roles.
The programme commenced with an engaging line-up of stand-up comedy performances setting an energetic and welcoming tone for the day. This was followed by a grand Dhol-Tasha procession from the DGMC campus, as faculty were escorted by the Core Team and welcomed with a dedicated musical entry. A specially entry was curated for the Principal featured a traditional Lezim performance from DGMC students accompanied by live Dhol-Tasha, presented by DGMC students, followed by an opening performance that marked the formal beginning of the event. The programme was hosted by the club’s Immediate Past President, Rtr. Sanman Hutgikar, who ensured smooth flow and engagement throughout.
The stage came alive as faculty members showcased their talents through poetry recitations, melodious singing, and expressive dance performances, reflecting the diverse artistic spirit within the institution. Another key highlight was the unveiling of the Volume 2 of “The Bridge” the official Newsletter of RCDGMC by Principal Ms. Amee Vora and Club Advisor Ms. Nilanksha Sachdev, in the presence of the Club President and Secretary, symbolising collective growth and documentation of achievements.
The event concluded on a high note, emerging as a meaningful initiative that strengthened bonds, celebrated creativity, and reinforced a culture of engagement and appreciation across the DGMC community.
