The Department organized an Intra-College BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) ESports Tournament with the objective of promoting competitive ESports as a structured sporting activity, encouraging strategic thinking, teamwork, and digital discipline among students.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students as well as faculty members, reflecting the growing acceptance of ESports as a legitimate competitive platform within academic institutions. A total of 8 squads participated in the Squad Mode, while 12 teams competed in the Duo Mode, making the tournament competitive and engaging across formats.
The tournament was conducted using custom BGMI rooms created and managed by the organizing committee. Dedicated Wi-Fi routers were provided to ensure stable connectivity and minimize latency issues. All matches were monitored by appointed marshals to prevent unfair practices, emulator usage, or rule violations. Scoring was carried out transparently using standard BGMI competitive scoring parameters, including placement points and kill points.
The Squad Mode matches showcased strong coordination, tactical gameplay, and high-pressure decision-making among teams. After a series of competitive matches, the following results were declared:

The Duo Mode added a distinct competitive dynamic, emphasizing synergy, communication, and adaptability between two players. The participation of faculty members in this format further enhanced the spirit of sportsmanship and inclusivity.

Throughout the tournament, discipline and decorum were strictly maintained. Players adhered to the code of conduct, and no major disputes or violations were reported. The presence of faculty and staff participants contributed positively to the competitive yet respectful environment of the event.
