As part of the national initiative aligned with the Government of India’s efforts to combat substance abuse, RSET’s Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies observed “Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada” on the 25th and 26th of June 2025, marking the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (26th June).
The event was organized collaboratively by the IQAC, NSS, DLLE, and the Rotaract Club, aiming to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of living a drug-free life. Students were encouraged to reflect on their roles in building a healthier, addiction-free society.
As part of the observance, students enthusiastically participated in a digital pledge campaign through the MyGov portal (https://pledge.mygov.in/fightagainstdrugabuse/). The campaign witnessed active participation from students across all programs in various activities such as group-discussions, speech, and slogan writing, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and collective well-being.
