An Assistant Professor at DGMC, Nidhi Taneja holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and has completed her post graduation  in Screenplay Writing and Direction from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. She has directed short films showcased at prominent festivals, including the Mumbai International Film Festival, the Kolkata International Film Festival, and the South Asian Short Film Festival. Over four years in the Hindi film industry, she has also worked on feature films for theatrical releases and web series for platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix, collaborating with directors such as Nandita Das and Anand Tiwari. In addition, she has served as a screenplay writer and associate director on independent projects.
