From 18th–20th September, DGMC, in collaboration with IQAC & IIC, hosted a three-day screenwriting workshop with renowned writer Saurabh George Swamy at the Madhoprasad Saraf Seminar Hall. The sessions focused on breaking writing stereotypes, character building, and story structuring. A highlight was the mock pitch with industry professional Hiren Lalwani, giving students real-world exposure to pitching ideas. Practical exercises like subtext writing, character DNA development, and inverted dialogues encouraged creativity beyond classroom learning. The workshop concluded with certificate distribution by Principal Dr. Amee Vora, leaving students inspired, confident, and better equipped with essential screenwriting skills and professional insights.
