The Rotaract Club of DGMC successfully organized an engaging Portfolio Making Workshop for the students of our college. The session served as a unique opportunity for aspiring photographers and models to enhance their skills and learn the essentials of building a professional portfolio under expert guidance. To make the session more insightful, we were privileged to have Mr. Laxmikant Patil, a renowned Mumbai-based photographer, along with Ms. Shwetali, a professional model and Mrs. India 2025. Together, they brought their expertise in photography, modeling, and presentation to guide and mentor the participants throughout the workshop. The session went beyond the fundamentals, highlighting not only the technical aspects of photography and modeling but also the art of presenting one’s work effectively. Students were divided into teams, encouraging collaboration and the exchange of creative ideas.
Through hands-on practice, participants received personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and suggestions for improvement from the experts. The workshop was highly interactive and engaging, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of professional portfolio development while experiencing practical exposure to industry standards. For the budding photographers and models of DGMC, it proved to be a valuable step toward building impactful portfolios and showcasing their talent with confidence.
