A delegation of students visited the U.S. Consulate at the Dosti House(BKC). For a briefing on the Model QUAD initiative. The session began with a welcome address by Ms. Sabina Mirchandani, Principal Dr. Amee Vora, highlighting the value of student participation. Mr. Sanman Hutgikar outlined the event format, followed by Prof. Daivata Patil’s introduction of Mr. Brian Beckmann, Public Affairs Head at the U.S. Consulate, who shared valuable insights. The program concluded with an interactive Q&A, country and topic allocations, and a vote of thanks, offering students meaningful perspectives on global engagement through Model QUAD
Model QUAD 2025
DGMC in collaboration with the US Consulate General, Mumbai, hosted the Model QUAD 2025, witnessing participation from colleges across Mumbai. Distinguished jury members-Mrs. Renu Nauriyal, Mr. Sachin Laddha, and Prof. Satyanarayan Kothe presided over discussions on three key topics: Critical and Emerging Technologies (moderated by Mr. Ashish Shetty), Economic Prosperity and Security (Dr. Prabhakar Rajendra Musam), and Supply Chain Management (Prof. Ashish Mathur).
Participants showcased impressive insights and innovation, with recognitions awarded for Best Speaker, Best Research Team, and Best New Concept/Solution. The valedictory ceremony featured Mrs. Dianna Sitt from the US Consulate, who praised the initiative and DGMC’s efforts.
