The Lifesaver CPR Training Workshop was organized by the Rotaract Club of DGMC in collaboration with its parent Rotary Club of Bombay Airport, with the objective of equipping firefighters with essential CPR skills. The session was conducted by Rtn. Dr. Akshay Mehta along with his wife, both of whom led the training and appreciated the initiative undertaken by the club.
The workshop commenced with a welcome address and a brief introduction to the goals of the session. Practical demonstrations were then carried out using mannequins and an AED machine, allowing firefighters to practice CPR techniques hands-on. An interactive Q&A session followed, where firefighters enthusiastically asked practical questions, making the workshop both engaging and insightful.
The event concluded on a successful note, as the firefighters not only gained valuable lifesaving skills but also acknowledged the importance of such training in their line of duty.
