The Rotaract Club organized a magnificent 9 Day Ganesh Festival at DGMC. The Maha Aarti in celebration of Lord Ganesh’s presence was conducted on the 25th of September, 2023. This event not only marked the joyous culmination of the Ganapati celebration but also served as a warm welcome to students returning to the DGMC campus after the mid-term break.
Lord Ganesha’s idol was brought to DGMC and students looked after it religiously for 9-days. The RCDGMC students painstakingly hand decorated the backdrop. Aarti time of 11am was set for all to come to the DGMC’s lobby to receive the lord’s blessings.
Young students of RBHS and RSET Management & Employees too came to seek Bappa’s blessings.
The Maha Aarti was conducted with utmost reverence and devotion, reflecting the deep spiritual significance of Lord Ganesh in the hearts of those present. The atmosphere was charged with positive energy as students and staff came together to offer their prayers and seek blessings.
The theme of the day was “Golden, White, or Cream” and the entire campus embraced this theme with enthusiasm. Students and faculty alike adorned themselves in stunning attire that captured the essence of the theme. The members of the Rotaract Club stood out in their traditional South Indian attire, adding a touch of authenticity to the event.
The success of the Maha Aarti can be attributed to the meticulous planning and execution by the Rotaract Club members, who worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was perfect. Their commitment and teamwork were truly commendable.
All bid a tearful goodbye to Lord Gsnesha as it was respectfully immersed organically on the 9th day.
