RCDGMC, in collaboration with the NSS Unit and the Green Club of Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies, organized a Beach Clean-up Drive at Juhu Beach on 18th Sept 2024. The event saw active participation from a large number of students. Equipped with gloves and collection bags, volunteers diligently worked to remove litter, plastic waste, and other debris from the beach.
After collecting more than 40 bags of waste, weighing approximately 500 kgs, participants assembled for a group photo, symbolizing their shared dedication to environmental protection and teamwork. This moment served as a meaningful way to celebrate their joint efforts and commitment to fostering a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
In conclusion, the Beach Clean-up was highly successful, both in enhancing the beach’s condition and promoting environmental awareness. The event underscored the importance of partnerships in addressing critical environmental challenges.
