1.) The Annual Sports Day was organised with the following objectives:

- To provide a competitive platform for students to showcase sporting talent
- To foster inclusivity by introducing alumni participation
- To strengthen student engagement and institutional bonding through sports activities

4.) Details of the Activity
The Annual Sports Day 2025–26 of Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies was conducted successfully over two days, marking a vibrant celebration of sports, fitness, and student participation.
The sporting activities commenced with an innovative precursor event: the inaugural ESports BGMI Tournament, held on 19th December 2025. This event reflected the institution’s progressive approach by recognising ESports as a contemporary competitive platform requiring strategic thinking, coordination, and teamwork.
A significant highlight of the opening ceremony was the Will of Fire Run, symbolising determination and sporting spirit, led by Mr. Bhav Nangia, a student of DGMC, who had the honour of being the torchbearer.
For the first time, the Sports Day also included events for alumni, thereby strengthening alumni engagement and fostering a sense of continuity and institutional belonging.

- Students from various programmes actively participated
- Alumni participation introduced for the first time
- Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and support staff contributed to coordination and supervision
- A dedicated team of student volunteers ensured smooth execution of the events
