Mr. Chandroday Ghosh
(Audio Engineer / Faculty)
Chandroday Ghosh is known to the Industry as Music Composer/Producer, Sound Designer and Sound Engineer for several of his Regional, Bollywood & Indie projects. A Professional Audio Engineer, having formal training in the field of Sound Engineering from FTII (Film and Television Institute of India, Pune) and SAE Institute.
More than 10 years of experience in (Academics) teaching Sound Engineering and Music production in multiple colleges across India. Several years he was associated as Head of the Audio Engineering and Music Production Department (HOD) at AAT / SAE media college (Mumbai). An AVID certified instructor for PROTOOLS and was empanelled as an Assistant Professor for Sound (2012-2014) at FTII (Film and Television Institute of India, Pune). Currently he is an Assistant Professor (Audio Engineer), at DGMC.
Mr. Viraj Bandekar

Mr. Viraj Bandekar comes from a background of competitive examinations and has been teaching in various colleges. He cleared UGC NET examination in June 2019. He previously worked with Bhavans College, Andheri (autonomous) where he was the faculty member for Board of Studies and the faculty in charge of photography club.
Viraj has worked freelance with various OTT platforms as a transcript writer. He has also worked with
sportscrunch.in as a sports writer. Viraj is a sports enthusiast and is a basketball and football player himself. Viraj is currently the Assistant Professor at DGMC.
Nilanksha Sachdev
(Assistant Professor)
Nilanksha Sachdev, currently an Assistant Professor at DGMC, is an avid
communication enthusiast, she has a rich experience of 7 years in the field of Mass
communication, Strategic Communications, Content Development and Communication
for Development. She particularly feels connected to the field of Development
Communication and has previously worked in several organizations like UNFPA, Public
Health Foundation of India and Ford Foundation to give the use of Media a social
direction. This experience has given her an eye of detail and a vast knowledge of the
interdisciplinary use of Mass Media as a tool for a better society. She accomplished her
Masters Degree in Development Communication, from Lady Irwin College, Delhi
University followed by UGC NET in the year 2011. She has also done a graduate course
in “Strategic Communications and Design” from University of Western Australia, Perth
and a course in “American Families and Community Lifestyles” from School of Human
Ecology at Michigan State University. She has taught as an Assistant Professor in
colleges like Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi and SNDT Women’s University.
She has researched and authored chapters on topics like Participatory Communication for
Development, Games as a tool for social change and correlations between Perception and
Communication. Her area of expertise is Content Development, Strategic
Communications, Media Design, Development Communication, Media Advocacy, Social
Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.
Ms. Rakhi Patekar

Rakhi Patekar has Completed Post Graduation in Masters of Library Science (M.LiSc.) from SHPT School of Library Science, SNDT University , Mumbai. Cleared CBSE – UGC NET (National Entrance Test), to be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Library and Information Science. Worked as a librarian with institutions like Bombay Cambridge, Universal High and Orchids International. Participated in various conferences and presented a paper on ‘Marketing skills for the Librarian in the 21st Century’, in the National Conference on “Librarianship in the 21st Century: Challenges and Prospects” held in Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. The paper was published in the conference proceedings.
Mr. Prasoon Prabhakar

Mr. Prasoon Prabhakar is an alumnus of Satyajit Ray Film and Television, Kolkata. He has been working professionally for the last 9 years across various formats of filmmaking like films, web series, Short films, and advertising/commercials. His films and web series are streaming on various OTT platforms. He is recognized as a Certified Master trainer by Media and Entertainment Skills Council.
Mr. Ziegler Colaco

Mr. Ziegler Colaco is a 360° Marcom professional with over 25 years’ experience whose career span includes extensive experience in Strategic Planning, Digital Marketing, Branding, Content Creation & Marketing, Consulting, Client Servicing and Integrated Marketing Communication. He has worked with various agencies like Lintas, Beehive Publicis, Contract, Concept PR, etc. Brands worked on from multiple industry sectors- BFSI, Technology, Education, eLearning, Telecom, Retail, FMCG, Real Estate and F&B.
With degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy along with an MBA from SIBM, he loves teaching and growing young professionals and mentoring Startups. Has academic experience teaching marketing and communication at SIMC, SCMHRD, Xavier Institute of Communication (XIC).
When not working, plays the guitar, reads, watches movies or tries to awaken curiosity in his daughter.
Divya Narang Tinna

Ms. Divya Narang Tinna is a Media Professional with almost 17 years of teaching and industry experience. Teaching and research are the two areas that have always enthralled her. She is a post-graduate in Economics as well as Mass Communication. She also has two UGC-NET certificates (Economics and Mass Communication) to her credit. Besides that, she also pursued PG Diploma in TV Journalism from Jamia Millia Islamia and she is the University Topper of the 2003-04 batch. She has also done a PG Diploma in Radio Broadcasting from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Before, starting her career in teaching, Ms. Divya was working with National News Channels in Delhi. She has worked as an Anchor and a Reporter with IBN7, which has now become News18. After her short stint with IBN7, she joined India’s most prestigious News Channel NDTV India. She has worked with veteran journalists like Vinod Dua, Ravish Kumar, Manoranjan Bharti, Sushil Bahuguna, and many more.
For the past 10 years, she has been teaching and guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in different media programs. Her research interests mainly include the study of social media, new media, and gender. She has done two Minor Research Projects, which were funded by the University of Mumbai. She has also won the “Best Research Paper Award” at an International Conference held in Mumbai. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in media from PAHER, Udaipur.
Ms. Deevika Shetty

Ms. Deveeka Shetty, currently an Assistant Professor at DGMCMS, is a Media Professional, an Image Consultant and a Digital Marketer. She is a post- graduate in Electronic Media as well as English Literature. She is pursuing her Ph.D in media from the University of Mumbai. Her area of expertise are Social Media Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Film Communication and Electronic Media. She has abundant experience of 9 years in the field of Corporate Communication, Public Relations, Image Consultancy and Celebrity Styling and Teaching. She particularly feels connected to the field of Public Relation and has previously worked in organizations like You, Me & We Media as a Senior PR Executive and Style Panache as a PR Executive and a Stylist. This experience has given her an eye of detail and a vast knowledge of the use of Mass Media as a tool for a better society. She was the Head of Department of the Department of Mass Media for 2½ years in Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science, also she headed the Master’s Program (MAEMA) for a year in Thakur College of Science & Commerce. She has experience in teaching in her Alma-mater Wilson College. Teaching, research and organizing events are areas that have always enthralled her. She is also an enthusiast in various cultural activities like Dance and Drama. She has presented a paper on “A Study of the Awareness Regarding Biological Warfare among Undergraduate Students of Mass Media”
