On December 22nd, 2023, the Rotaract Club hosted a heart-warming event called “Sun mein Fun” at the PDSA turf. The day was filled with laughter, joy, and a spirit of inclusivity as underprivileged children from Being Child Care, A local NGO that works towards the upliftment of children in the city of Mumbai were invited.
The excitement was palpable as the children arrived, eager to participate in the fun-filled games planned for them. From classic hide-and-seek to the thrilling “dog and the bone,” and the balancing act of “book balance,” each game brought squeals of delight and infectious laughter. But the day wasn’t just about games; it was about creating a space where everyone felt welcome and appreciated.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the children’s captivating dance performance. Their innocent smiles and energetic moves mesmerised everyone present, warming hearts and filling the air with a sense of pure joy. The children’s talent and enthusiasm shone through, reminding us of the simple pleasures that can bring immense happiness.
The event ended with Mr. Rakesh Khairnar, the caretaker of the NGO thanking RCDGMC for this noble initiative. The children expressed their heartfelt gratitude and the smiles on their faces and the sparkle in their eyes were a testament to the success of “Sun mein Fun.”
