On the occasion of World Ozone Day, the NSS Unit of DGMCMS organized a short film screening followed by a Quiz competition on 16th September, 2022 at Madhoprasad Saraf Seminar Hall.
An animated short film, released by the UN Environment Programme, ‘Reset Earth: One Ozone, One Planet, One Chance was screened. The film showcased the efforts of humans in 2084 to save our Mother Earth.
The quiz competition ‘#GoGreenGoGenius’ was conducted involving participation of 8 teams, consisting of three members each. The teams were named after five great elements of earth and few of the natural gasses. The motive of the competition was to highlight and impart the information and knowledge related to ozone depleting and our environment. The event was a successful effort to create awareness about Ozone Layer and the precautions we humans need to take to save the planet.
