Media I.C.E. Age “Legend of the Phoenix” & Cinevoyage “A Dream You Seek” was held from 23rd Feb to 26th Feb 2022
Media I.C.E (Information, Communication, and Entertainment) Age 2022 redefined the contours of what is usually meant by celebration in a college. Mentored and guided by the Principal Dr. Amee Vora, the team got the wheels rolling for the festival in its redefined form as early as September 2021. This year, the festival went international and was designed on the lines of lighting up hopes, aspirations and dreams into people’s lives. The festival could not have had a better theme than Media I.C.E. Age “Legend of the Phoenix” & Cinevoyage “A Dream You Seek”
DGMC conducted the entire festival in the virtual mode using multiple Zoom accounts.
A number of influencers and renowned guest speakers contributed in making this international fest a thumping success. A splendid blend of numerous games, events, workshops and panel discussions were part of the festival and the results were delectable. Social workers, journalists, writers, publishers, financial experts, environmental workers, and many other illustrious professionals were a part of this year’s fest. Rounded pre-events lined up for the participants. The festival showcased 4 conclaves, 4 panel discussions, 9 workshops, 16 events, 2 fireside chats all revolving around different forms of media
The festival saw a galaxy of well know speakers such as Swapna Waghmare Joshi, Naresh Fernandes, Trevor Hardy, Carlos Duquedanz, Karan Arjun Singh, Zoru Bathena, Fufo Rosario, Devendra Pai, Abhishek Kini, Shriya Sinha, Shagufta Abrar, Rajeev Bhatia, Animesh Sharma, Ujala Gupta, Avinash Shukla, Anthony Sturmas, Shreya Bhandary, Emilie Forsman, Shubham Desai, Talha Ozturk, Lukas Weishaar, Dr. Bala Shanmugadevi, Elvia Gago, P. Ponmariappan, Dev Kumar, Durgesh Gupta, Rahul Antani, Rajas Pingle, Zuby Johal, Sameer Patel, Priyanka Kotwal, Amutharasan, Gaurav Mehta, Geeta Seshu, Arnav Chakravarty, Divya Rao, Ritesh Bhatia, Akanksha Sarma, Abhishek Bhate, Shardul Kadam, Jadon Christian, Akash Brahmbhatt, Gaurav Lohra and many more industry experts.
50 colleges from Mumbai and Outside Mumbai participated in the Festival spread across 4 days.
As to the participants’ contribution in this festival, it would be no exaggeration to state that every participant performed to the best of their ability, thus co-creating an eye-catching spectacle in the end.
