On the 30th of September 2023 at Juhu Beach, The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension also known as DLLE along with the Rotaract members, hosted an impactful beach clean-up initiative, rallying 23 enthusiastic volunteers. Armed with gloves and bags, they meticulously combed the shoreline, diligently extracting debris, plastics, and litter. Their collective effort yielded an impressive number of waste bags, underscoring the urgency of environmental protection. This event not only rejuvenated the coastal ecosystem but also raised awareness about the perils of marine pollution. The community’s dedication showcased a powerful commitment to preserving our natural treasures for generations to come.
