The Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust’s Deviprasad Goenka Management college of media studies had organised free of cost Career Counselling sessions in the colleges of other states, the Principal of DGMC Dr. Amee Vora, Professor Partha Samanta and a student of the institute Sanman Hutgikar visited Goa on 30th of May for their first session at the ‘Carmel College of Goa’ where they were welcomed by the Placement officer Ms.Cheryl Alvares, the session took place from 11:30am to 1:30pm and addressed around 130 students in the college auditorium, later, feedback forms were circulated among the students which asked them about their various interests in media and also if they would like to study media, they also met the Principal’s of both Degree as well as the Junior college and spoke to them about having such sessions in future.
